MLT combines independent public-equity research with the management of its own long-term capital. We focus on the companies and systems required for a more durable, efficient and inclusive real economy.

Research begins with systems, not screens. We follow the forces reshaping power, water, infrastructure, industry and resource use, then examine the companies positioned within them—economics, governance, valuation, catalysts and risk.
We invest proprietary capital through focused, research-led portfolios. The objective is durable risk-adjusted compounding, with sustainability used as a lens on resilience, opportunity and downside—not as a substitute for financial discipline.
MLT currently manages capital for its founding family and does not accept outside investors.
Environmental, social and ethical factors are not treated as a separate scorecard. They inform our assessment of durability: energy and resource intensity, employee and customer outcomes, governance, incentives, regulation and licence to operate.
Energy, water, materials, emissions and physical constraints.
Products, labour practices, access and social licence.
Stewardship, incentives, transparency and capital allocation.
Reliable, affordable, low-carbon power and the networks that deliver it.
Clean water, efficient use and circular systems for a finite planet.
Foundational assets and industrial systems that enable productivity and innovation.
Systems that nourish, protect and strengthen communities across generations.
Research must explain causal chains, identify what would prove a thesis wrong and connect structural change to company economics and valuation.
We are selective by design, independent in judgement and accountable for the conclusions we publish and the capital we allocate.
