A sanctuary for art, ideas, and enduring cultural responsibility.
“In an age of speed and noise, we believe in the importance of stillness, clarity, and works that will outlast us.”The MLT Foundation supports projects in art, thought, and society that contribute to long-term cultural health. Based in Zurich, we aim to build not just institutions, but infrastructure for meaning — quietly, deliberately, and with generational perspective.

Art & Aesthetics

We commission and support visual art that invites introspection, beauty, and resonance. Our focus is on works that are spiritually or philosophically engaged — not decorative, not sensational. We believe great art is a form of moral clarity.

The MLT Art Foundation — launching in Zurich — will serve as a permanent but intimate site for artist commissions, seasonal exhibitions, and meditative cultural programming.

Place & Permanence

Zurich, with its Alpine stillness and civic maturity, is our foundation’s permanent home. Our site — currently in design — will be a sanctuary space for reflection, collaboration, and commission. Architecture will be quiet, durable, and integrated into the land. It is not a museum. It is a place to return to.

Thought & Society

We are committed to thought leadership in the service of human dignity and planetary health. Our “thought” programs support research, residencies, and publications in:

‍Environmental sustainability

Democratic political systems

Fair and independent media

Child safety and digital wellbeing

We believe in the value of reflection, responsibility, and deep thinking as antidotes to the speed and noise of our time.

Current Projects

Zurich Sanctuary Site (In Development)

A hillside-based cultural space integrating art, nature, and ideas. Architecture by a leading European firm. Construction begins 2026. Residencies & Fellowships (Launching Soon) Annual invitations to artists, philosophers, and researchers working on long-term projects aligned with our mission.

Cultural Publications

Occasional essays, editions, and books exploring the role of art and ideas in shaping a more thoughtful world — including themes such as artistic restraint, environmental stewardship, democratic values, and the inner life in a digital age.

Partnerships & Approach

We operate with discretion and purpose. We collaborate with individuals and institutions aligned with our values. If you are a painter, philosopher, curator, architect, educator, or steward of ideas, and feel a kinship with our approach, we invite quiet dialogue.
